Submissions Guidelines

  • Title: A concise, descriptive title containing relevant search terms.
  • Abstract: A single-paragraph abstract of 200–250 words covering the objective or purpose, methodology, principal findings and conclusion. Do not include citations.
  • Keywords: Five to seven specific keywords placed directly below the abstract.
  • Main text: Use a logical structure appropriate to the manuscript. Research articles should normally include an introduction, literature review or conceptual framing where applicable, methodology, results and discussion and conclusion.
  • References: Include only sources cited in the manuscript and ensure that every in-text citation has a corresponding reference-list entry, and vice versa.
  • Length: Manuscripts can range from 5,000–8,000 words. Authors proposing other contribution types should confirm the applicable length with the editorial office before submission.
  • Submit an editable Microsoft Word or LaTeX file.
  • Use 12-point Times New Roman, with double line spacing and numbered pages.
  • Use clear heading levels and avoid manual formatting that obscures the document hierarchy.
  • Write in high-quality academic English. Professional language editing or proofreading is strongly recommended where needed.
  • Number and title all tables and figures, refer to each one in the text and provide source notes where applicable. Images should be supplied at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Provide active, clickable DOI links in the https://doi.org/ format whenever available, and check all URLs before submission.

All submissions must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition). Key conventions include:

  • One author: (Surname, Year)
  • Two authors: (Surname & Surname, Year)
  • Three or more authors authors: (Surname et al., Year) from the first citation.
  • Narrative citations: Surname (Year), Surname and Surname (Year), or Surname et al. (Year).
  • Arrange the reference list alphabetically by the surname of the first author; do not number the entries; and use a hanging indent.

Example:

  • Journal article: Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of article in sentence case. Title of Journal, volume(issue), xx–xx. https://doi.org/xxxxx
  • Book: Author, A. A. (Year). Title of book in sentence case. Publisher.
  • Chapter in an edited book: Author, A. A. (Year). Title of chapter. In E. E. Editor (Ed.), Title of book (pp. xx–xx). Publisher. https://doi.org/xxxxx

 

TAJWAGID adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must uphold the highest standards of research integrity and provide the following declarations, as applicable:

  • Originality and exclusive submission: Confirm that the work is original, has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • Authorship:List only contributors who meet accepted authorship criteria. All submitting authors are required to provide an ORCID iD.
  • Ethics approval and informed consent: State the approving body and reference number for research involving human participants, where applicable and confirm that informed consent and safeguarding requirements were met.
  • Competing interests:Disclose any financial, professional or personal relationships that could influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence the work.
  • FundingIdentify all funding sources and grant numbers, or state that no specific funding was received.
  • Data TransparencyProvide an appropriate data-availability statement while protecting confidentiality, privacy and community rights.
  • Use of generative artificial intelligence: Disclose any substantive use of generative AI in research or manuscript preparation, including the tool and purpose. AI tools cannot be credited as authors, and authors remain fully accountable for accuracy, originality, confidentiality and citation integrity.

Every submission is screened for alignment with the journal’s scope, completeness, ethical compliance, originality and minimum scholarly quality. Manuscripts that pass editorial screening proceed to rigorous double-blind peer review by independent subject specialists. Authors will normally receive an editorial decision and reviewer feedback within approximately two months of submission. Timelines may vary depending on reviewer availability and the extent of revisions required.

 

How to Submit

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s Register or sign in to the Online Submission System. Start a new submission and select the appropriate journal section or contribution type. Complete the submission checklist and required ethical declarations, then submit the manuscript for editorial consideration.
